Recharge & Recalibrate is a thoughtfully designed, science-informed retreat day for women with full lives — offering space to reconnect with your body, gain mental clarity, and leave with practical, sustainable tools to support steady energy and balanced mood in everyday life.

This retreat day is hosted by Winni and Gertrud, who share a strong foundation in health science — in fact, we first met during our PhD research years. Alongside our scientific training, we both explored alternative and natural approaches to health in depth. Today, we bring these perspectives together in a science-driven, holistic approach that connects movement, nutrition, nervous system health, healthy relating and simple daily habits — understanding how these elements shape energy, clarity, and long-term wellbeing.

Functional, intelligent movement to improve posture, mobility, strength, and long-term resilience.

11:00 — Nutrition Workshop & Shared Lunch Preparation (Winni)
An interactive session on blood sugar balance, metabolism, and energy regulation — while preparing a nourishing lunch together.

13:30 — Healthy Habits in a Demanding World (Gertrud)
Practical strategies for building sustainable routines, preventing burnout, and supporting steady energy in modern life.

15:00 — Breathwork & Gentle Yoga (Winni)
A guided downshift into parasympathetic recovery through breath and gentle yoga practices.

16:00 — Ecstatic Shake
Guided free movement to release tension, reset mentally, and reconnect with joy.

16:30 — Integration & Closing
Reflection, key takeaways, and intentional closure.

Location

Our day retreat takes place at Thof in Drongen — a bright, relaxed event space set in peaceful green surroundings just outside Ghent. The venue offers a cozy indoor area with plenty of natural light and direct access to garden space, creating a calm and inviting setting for movement, workshops, and shared moments throughout the day.
